Gary W. Hannes

Gary W. Hannes, 79, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. Gary was born on December 25, 1944, in Buffalo, New York, to parents Ward and Margaret Hannes. He was an avid sports fan, with the New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills at the top of his list. He also enjoyed playing golf, racquetball, and baseball. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Gary was preceded in death by first wife Mary Hopkins; parents, Ward Hannes, and Margaret McIntyre; and sisters, Linda Sherman and Joy Dallessandro.

Gary is survived by his wife, Lisa Coffin; children, Ward (Chrissy) Hannes, of Tyngsboro, Mass, Greg Hannes (Dawn), of Tyngsboro, Mass, Brad Hannes, of New Hampshire; step-children, Joshua (Laura) Coffin, of Conway, Jessica (Jeremy) Higley, of Aynor, Stacy (Matthew) Becker, of Conway, and Shawn (Jackie) Coffin, of Conway; 13 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours for Gary will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Dolan Funeral Home, 106 Middlesex Street, North Chelmsford, MA 01863.
