George Georges, 86, of Nashua, NH died at his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, November 15, 2016.
He was married to Janet Georges with whom he would have celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary on January 21, 2017.
Born in Lowell, he was the son of the late John and Rose Georges. He graduated from Tilton Academy in Tilton, NH with the class of 1948. He earned BS in Business from Boston University.
He proudly served with the U.S. Air Force during Korean War.
George owned and operated George Georges General Contracting of Nashua. He had previously managed the Blue Moon Night Club in Lowell.
He was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in Nashua.
George loved flying. He was a flight instructor and an auxiliary pilot for the NH State Police.
He was a winter resident of Florida and enjoyed flying there every year with his wife.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, George Georges Jr. of Groton, MA and Dana and his wife, Kathryn Georges of Nashua, NH; brother, Peter and his wife, Nona Georges of Dunstable, MA; sister, Dorothy Beckwith of Westford, MA; three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Dennis Georges of Lowell, MA, Martha Melanson of N. Chelmsford, MA and Evelyn Silva of Nashua, NH.
