George Leo Dupras, 84, of Tyngsboro, MA, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 16, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Bobola) Dupras, with whom he recently celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary.
George was born in Boston, MA, the son of Emery Dupras and Cecile Tousignant. He was a proud graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1959. Throughout his career, George owned and operated D&F Carpentry Construction of Tyngsboro. Later, he retired from Abu Construction of Northboro, MA.
A dedicated member of his community, George was involved with the Tyngsboro Sportsman Club, the Tyngsboro Historical Society, and several auto clubs. He also served as a Tyngsboro Water Commissioner, reflecting his commitment to civic duty.
George is survived by his children, George Dupras of Tyngsboro, MA, and Donna Beaulieu and her husband Chuck of Tyngsboro, MA. He is also survived by his stepdaughter, Jerelyn Nordelus, and her husband Gilbert of Derry, NH. He leaves behind his brother, Robert Dupras of Summerfield, FL, and his sister, Margaret Thomas of Ocala, FL. His memory lives on through his cherished grandchildren: Kristen Dupras, Dakatolee Stokes, and Zachary Dupras.
George was predeceased by his son, Peter Dupras, who passed away on September 5, 1966.
George will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
