Mrs. Gloria M. (Belanger) Rondeau, 91, resident of Lowell, MA, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lowell, MA on November 23, 1923, the daughter of the late Armand and Aurore (Beauchesne) Belanger; married to her beloved husband Ernest J. Rondeau for 72 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Gloria attended Lowell High School and worked in the parachute industry during the Second World War. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Lowell High School in the Food Department. She previously worked for Pollards Department store in Lowell for many years. Gloria loved to 
travel with her husband. They have taken many bus trips within the US and Canada. Her family was most important. She never forgot greeting cards to celebrate birthdays, wedding anniversaries and special occasions. A family gathering was time for celebrating and playing card games. She will be greatly missed by all.
Gloria was a parishioner of Saint Rita’s Parish of Lowell and the former Saint Jeanne D’Arc Church; a life member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Auxiliary, National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Chapter 360 and the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) Chapter 2694.
Besides her husband, Gloria is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald E and JoAnne T. (Landry) Rondeau of Shrewsbury, and Normand R. and Mary F. (Paquin) Rondeau of Dracut, a daughter and son-in-law, Elaine Y. and Frank J. Dolan of Methuen, three sisters; Doris Grady, Yvette Grady and Monique Harrison and her husband Richard all of Lowell. She was the sister-in-law to Eleanor (Owen) Belanger of Lowell, Arthur Papillon of Winchendon and Emile Rondeau and his wife Ann (Tessier) of Dracut. Gloria also leaves seven grandchildren; Kristine LeMay and her husband Mark of Tyngsborough, Jennifer Gedrich and her husband Christopher of Dracut, Dawn Marie Horan and her husband Peter of Auburn, Mark Rondeau and his wife Lisa of Dunbarton, NH, Tammy Hebert and her husband Seth of Lunenburg, Michael Dolan of Dracut and Andrew Rondeau and his wife Dr. Jevon Plunkett of Shrewsbury; 21 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was the sister of the late Gladys Belanger, Andre Belanger, Anita Toupin and Irene Papillon. RONDEAU, Gloria M. (Belanger) Rondeau of Lowell died Nov. 3, 2015. Visiting hours Sun. 2 to 6 P.M.
