Grace Cecelia Latour, 84, of North Chelmsford, MA passed away Friday, December 9, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at Lowell General Hospital.
She was married to the late Maurice R. Latour who passed away on May 11, 1996. Born in Lowell, MA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Doris (McMullen) Parks.
In her younger years Grace enjoyed being outdoors as she liked spending time with her six children by the pool, trips to the beach, taking walks outside, as well as being lakeside either at Latour’s Grove or her brother’s lake house in New Hampshire. Among her favorite things, being a Nana and great-Nana, trips to the casino, especially Mohegan Sun. She loved her Friday night prime rib & martini at Princeton Station. Grace also spent a lot of time sewing, knitting, and crocheting. Above all else, family was everything to Grace. She was truly a kind and caring person who devoted her life to being a mother to all.
She is survived by her son Jay Latour of Denmark, ME, her five daughters; Suzanne and Kenneth Carter of Tyngsboro, MA, Jacqueline Baker and Michael Biederman of Tyngsboro, MA, Deborah Latour of North Chelmsford, MA, Karen Roy of North Chelmsford, MA, Renee and Christopher Callery of Hudson, NH, her sister whom with she was inseparable, Hazel Thompson of Westford, MA, her seven grandchildren; Sarah Baker and Nathaniel Brown, Adam Roy, Justin Latour, Joshua and Francisca Baker, Hayden Callery, Grace Callery, Brandon Roy who also doubled as Grace’s best friend, her three great-grandchildren, Nolan, Duncan, and Zoey Brown, and her many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Samuel Parks and the sister-in-law to the late Jacqueline Parks and James Thompson.

Grace Cecelia Latour, North Chelmsford, MA died December 9, 2022. Visiting hours Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX STREET, N. CHELMSFORD, MA. Funeral Monday, December 19, 2022 12:00 Noon at Dolan Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church at 1:00 PM. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, N. Chelmsford, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the Trevor Project https://www.thetrevorproject.org/
