Gulumser Kanlier, 76, passed away peacefully in her Methuen, MA home on Thursday, December 22, 2022.
Gulumser was born on August 02, 1946 and grew up in the beautiful Turkish Mediterranean city of Mersin. She and her husband Cemal Kanlier moved to the United States in 1973 with their young family. She is proceeded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Cemal Kanlier, as well as her parents, seven siblings, and many dear friends and relatives.
She is survived by her three sons, who were the pride and joy of her life and who always strived to care for her: Soner Kanlier, Taner Kanlier, and Tanzer Kanlier, as well as her only and beloved grandchild, Chase Cemal Kanlier.
FUNERAL NOTICE
Gulumser was laid to rest at Westlawn Cemetery in Lowell, MA, surrounded by her sons, her grandson, her family and dear friends. Those wishing to honor her life can make a donation in her name to the Selimiye Mosque in Methuen.
