Hean Yim of Lowell, MA

Hean Yim, 84, of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away on September 12, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband, Choeun Sin.

Born on May 10, 1940, in Svay Rieng, Cambodia, Hean was a rice farmer before moving to the United States in July 1983. She became a U.S. citizen in 2004 and spent 41 years as a resident of Lowell, where she worked at Prince Macaroni.

She is survived by her sons, Rok Cheth and his wife Sengly Taing of Lowell, MA; Kes Cheth of Lowell, MA; and Kmao Cheth of Fresno, CA. She also leaves behind her sister, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Hean was predeceased by her five sons.

Hean found joy in watching movies and cherished the time spent with her family. Her warmth, strength, and dedication will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
