Howard Ryan, 83, of North Chelmsford, formerly from Arlington and Everett, passed away on May 11, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Marilyn (Metivier) Ryan who passed away in 2021.
Born in Everett, MA, he was the son of the late Fred Ryan and Anna (Almeida) Ryan Lowe.
Howie attended Arlington public schools. He was a mechanic by trade, and the owner of Northern Automotive Service in North Chelmsford for over 50 years until his retirement 2022. He was an avid lover of antique cars, especially Lincolns. He was an active member of both the LZOC, LCOC, and the AACA. Howie and Marilyn attended numerous car shows throughout the continental US over the years, as well as weekly local cruise nights. Howie enjoyed vacationing with family, especially in Stowe, VT. He loved watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play sports and dance. He never missed a game or recital. Howard will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his daughter, Robin Milotte, and her husband, Roger, of North Chelmsford, 4 grandchildren: Sean Milotte and his wife, Nicole, of Chelmsford; Cara Bullock and her husband, Jonathan, of Chelmsford; Alyssa Milotte of West Hollywood, CA; and Victoria Milotte of East Boston, as well as 5 great-grandchildren: Lily, Nora, Lucy, Shea, and Teddy, all of whom he loved spending time with.
