Jacob Savath Mao, 51, of Billerica, MA died Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Beth Israel Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was married to Karey Wu with whom he had celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary on May 10th.

Born in Battambang, Cambodia, he was the son of the late Vorn Mao and Lay Ok of Lowell, MA.

He graduated from Lowell High School, with the class of 1991. After high school Jacob furthered his education by attending I-TT Tech in Norwood.

Jacob was currently working at Sanofi of Framingham, MA.

He enjoyed fishing, playing video games and spending time with his children in parks. He also enjoyed swimming at the beach with his family.

Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his son Aidan (Phengnia) Mao of Nashua, NH; his three daughters Mackenzie, Meckayla and Aleesha Mao all of Billerica, MA; three brothers and one sister.

Visiting hours Wednesday, October 19 at 1PM from Dolan Funeral Home, 106 Middlesex Street, N. Chelmsford followed at 4PM from Trairatanaram Temple, 21 Quigley Ave., N. Chelmsford.     Jacob and I worked on a couple of projects a few years ago. He was always kind, funny and just great to be around. He always had a smile and “how are you?” when passing in the hall. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to the entire family.
