James “Jimmy” Michael Brown, 63, of Rindge, NH, passed away peacefully at home on March 19, 2025.
Born in Lowell, MA, he was the son of John and Rita (Mondazzi) Brown. He graduated from Greater Lowell Technical High School with the Class of 1980.
Jimmy worked as a waste water control manager at Select Engineering in Fitchburg, MA. He previously worked at Raytheon in Andover and South Lowell, MA.
He enjoyed cooking for his family and friends, spending time outdoors, and camping. He was also a devoted Boston Bruins fan and loved sharing stories with his family.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Susan Brown, and their children: John Brown and his wife Sarah of Fitzwilliam, NH; Michael Brown of Rindge, NH; Lyn Johnson and her husband Terry of Hudson, NH; Alicia Dolson of Chelmsford, MA; and Tracy Petullo of Fitzwilliam, NH.
He is also survived by his siblings: Kevin Brown and his wife Janet of Lowell, MA; Ken Brown of Lowell, MA; Bruce Brown and his wife Karen of Chelmsford, MA; David Brown and his wife Renee of Dracut, MA; Patricia Stuart and her husband Ron of Chelmsford, MA; Joelyn Georges and her husband Tim of Dracut, MA; Cheryl Staid and her husband Mike of Essex, MA; and Kelly Bragel of Billerica, MA.
He was a loving grandfather to seven grandchildren: Lili Johnson, Dexter Johnson, Adelaide Brown, Rosalie Brown, Lyla Brown, Trevor Sleeper, and Kaylie Petullo-Roca.

James “Jimmy” Michael Brown, Ringe, NH died March 19, 2025. Visiting hours for James will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2025 from 12:00 Noon – 4:00 p.m. at Dolan Funeral Home, 106 Middlesex Street, N. Chelmsford, MA 01863. Funeral 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2025 at Dolan Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery, North Chelmsford, MA. Arrangements by Dolan Funeral Home 978-251-4041.
