Jane Agnes Lee RN of Chelmsford, MA

Jane Agnes Lee, RN, aged 82, of Chelmsford, MA, passed away on March 25, 2024, at Lawrence General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Robert E. Lee, with whom she shared a loving marriage since 1963.

Jane was born in Lowell, MA, the daughter of Joseph Szafran and Stella Swiderski. She graduated from Lowell High School with the Class of 1959 and later pursued a degree in nursing at St. Joseph Hospital of Lowell, where she earned her credentials as a Registered Nurse. Throughout her career, Jane dedicated herself to caring for others, bringing comfort and compassion to countless patients.

She retired from her role at New England Pediatric Care Center of Billerica after years of service. Prior to that, she had worked at Dr. Robert Berman Pediatric Practice of Chelmsford.

Devoted to her faith, Jane was a communicant of St. Mary Church in Chelmsford. She found enjoyment in membership at Nashua Country Club. An avid crafter, Jane had a passion for crocheting. However, her greatest source of happiness came from time spent with her family, whom she loved dearly.

Jane is survived by her sons, Patrick Lee of Chelmsford, MA and Michael Lee of California; her granddaughters, Morgan Lee, Ember Lee, Celestia Lee, and Topanga Ross; two great-grandchildren, Victor Ross and Presley Ross; her brother, Joseph Szafran, and his wife, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Helen Wolnik.

May she rest in peace, forever cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Visiting hours Monday, April 1, 2024 from 3-6PM at DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX STREET, N. CHELMSFORD, MA. Funeral Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 11AM at St. Mary Church, Chelmsford.  Burial in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford. Memorials may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
