John B. Cameron Sr., 87, of Tyngsboro, MA died surrounded by his loving family at the Palm Center in Chelmsford on Wednesday, July 22, 2015.
He was married to the late Florence Cameron, who died on March 15, 1998,
Born in Harcourt New Brunswick, Canada, he was the son of the late James M. and Nina I. Cameron He graduated from Billerica High School with the class of 1945.
He proudly served with the U.S. Army during World War II.
John was a self-employed carpenter in Billerica and a resident of Billerica before moving to Tyngsboro.
His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
He is survived by two sons, James and his wife, Laurel Cameron of Rindge, NH and John Cameron Jr. of Nashua, NH; three daughters, Joanne and her husband, Pastor Denis Frediani of Nashua, NH, Florence Delle Chiaie of Jensen Beach, FL and Janice and her husband, Art Buendia of Peabody, MA; a sister, Irene and her husband, Austin Kelly of PA; 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was the father-in-law of the late Albert Delle Chiaie, and the brother of the late Louise Owens, the late Bessie House, the late Graham Cameron, the late Jean Gordon, the late Eileen Harvey, and the late James A. Cameron.
No Visiting hours. A Memorial Service will be Mon. at 11A.M. at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD. Memorials may be made in his name to the Lowell Salvation Army, 150 Appleton St, Lowell, MA 01852. ARRANGEMENTS BY DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 978-251-4041.
