John C. Marcotti, R.N. of Tyngsboro, MA

John Carl Marcotti, 82, of Tyngsboro, MA died Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family

He was married to Sandra (Esposito) Marcotti with whom he recently celebrated their 58^th wedding anniversary in June 13th.

Born in Cambridge, MA he was the son of the late John Marcotti and Catherine Hartley.

He graduated from Medford High School, Medford, with the class of 1959.  He is a graduate of the Northern Essex Community College Nursing Program where he became a registered nurse. He also attended University of New Hampshire.

He retired in 2021 from Lahey Psychiatric Center in Lawrence, MA. He previously worked at Cambridge Hospital.

He enjoyed reading and watching the History Channel. He loved his family and granddaughter and his dog Pal, who died 5 weeks before him.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter Andrea Marcotti Rivera and her husband Joseph of Tyngsboro, MA, his granddaughter Gianna Rivera, sister-in-law Frances Annand of N. Reading, MA, sister-in-law Diane DiNapoli and her husband Richard of Reading, MA, and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late William Marcotti and brother-in-law of the late Ronald Annand, Warren Ruck, Denise Pignone, and Anita Ruck.

Visiting hours Thursday, September 8 from 4-8pm at DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX STREET, N. CHELMSFORD, MA. Funeral Friday, September 9 at 9am at St. John the Evangelist Church in N.
