Joseph A. Bronsard, 88 of Galloway, NJ passed away peacefully on August 4, 2021. Joe, a native of Waterbury, Connecticut, moved to New Jersey in 1960. He received a B.A. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Newark College of Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Science (Physics) from Trenton State College. He was also a graduate of Rider College in Management Development. Joe held several engineering positions and retired as Executive Vice President of Homasote Company in West Trenton, NJ.
Joe held a Professional Engineering license. He oversaw, trained and made improvements to all who worked beside him. Joe was a member of many organizations including the Trenton Engineers Club, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Society of Professional Engineers, and the Society of Plastic Engineers. He was one of the founders of the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Fluid Power Society and served as its first president. Joe also authored several articles that were published in technical journals. In his spare time, Joe loved to travel, and he enjoyed all sports, especially golf and baseball.
Joe is predeceased by his parents, Camille Bronsard and Marguerite (Lemieux) Bronsard; his first wife Marlene (Cook) Bronsard; his brother, Louis Bronsard (Sondra); his sister-in-law, Lorraine (Cook) Keating (Jack); and his brother-in-law, Raymond Beloin.
He leaves behind his wife, Janice Bronsard; his sister, Pauline (Bronsard) Beloin; his brother, Paul Bronsard (Carol); brother-in-law, Gregory Cook (Karen); brother-in-law, Richard Cook (Pat); and many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 10th from 2pm to 5pm at Wimberg Funeral Home, 211 E. Great Creek Rd, Galloway, NJ 641-0001. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Wednesday, August 11th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton church, 591 New Jersey Ave, Absecon, NJ 08201. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Absecon, NJ.
