Joseph B. McTeague, 82, of Nashua, NH formerly of Lowell, MA and Naples, FL died Friday, April 21, 2023 in St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH unexpectedly.
He was the husband of Nano (Hylan) McTeague. He was predeceased by his first wife, Harriett (Lane) McTeague who died June 1, 1999.
Born in Lowell, MA on Nov. 2, 1940, he was a son of the late Joseph B. and Blanche (St. Onge) McTeague.
He graduated from Lowell High School with the Class of 1958.
He lived in Lowell most of his life and wintered in Naples, FL. He had been a resident of Nashua, NH since 2006.
Joseph co-owned and operated Nabnassett Citco in Westford for many years. Over the years he worked at Explosive Supplies, Westford Volunteer Firefighter, a patrolman with the Westford Police Dept. He also owned a Snap-On Tools Franchise and McTeague Trucking Co. of Lowell. He also worked for Fleet Courier Trucking Co. in Chelmsford.
He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church.
He was a past member of the Chelmsford Elks and the Westford Lion’s Club.
Joseph enjoyed camping and hunting. He was a fan of the Patriots, the Red Sox, and loved watching NASCAR racing.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Joseph B. McTeague III of Lowell, MA; a daughter Lauri McTeague of Block Island; four step children, John and Melanie LeBlanc of Hampton, NH, Nano and Stephen
Kenneway of Hampton, NHl, Lisa and Todd Olofson of Brentwood, NH and Michelle LeBlanc of Nashua, NH; a brother Michael McTeague and his wife, Donna of Chelmsford, MA; a sister, Mary Gail McManmon of
Dracut, MA and Naples, FL; 6 grandchildren, Ethan, Meghan, Andrew and Lucas McTeague, Gavin and Jayden Smith; 10 step grandchildren, Jennifer, Tyler, Connor, Molly, Maxwell, Heather, Adam, Craig, John, and Daniel; 1 step great-grandchild Theo; 3 nephews Michael, Paul, and James; 3 nieces Jodi, Jill, and Jeanne.
Joseph also leaves behind his beloved Maltipoo Tia.

McTeague, Joseph B. McTeague of Nashua, NH formerly of Lowell, MA died April 21, 2023. Visiting hours Thursday April 27, 2023 from 9:30-10:30AM. Funeral will follow at 11AM in St. John the Evangelist Church,
115 Middlesex St. Chelmsford, MA. Burial at a later date in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.

Dear Mike, Donna and Family…
I am saddened to hear of Joe’s passing. I have fond memories of working with him at many functions at St. John’s Church.
He was a good friend and a good guy.
