The world lost a beautiful soul. Kaitlyn L. Martin 26, of Townsend, Massachusetts formally of North Chelmsford, Massachusetts passed Friday, March 18, 2022 unexpectedly and suddenly in her home.
Katie was born in Lowell, MA. She was the daughter of Melissa Dalton of Melbourne, FL and the late Joseph F. Martin. Her step-father, Daniel Shea of Melbourne, FL and her step-mother, Kimberly A. Doyle of Dracut, MA.
She graduated from Nashoba Valley Tech High School, in Westford, MA with the class of 2014.
She was employed by Milltown Plumbing and Heating in Chelmsford, Mass as an HVAC Technician and Plumbing apprentice. She absolutely loved the people she worked with at Milltown Plumbing, and learning new things in the trade. She had also worked as a Vet Tech at Countryside Veterinary Hospital in Chelmsford.
Katie was a shining light in this world. She loved music, her friends, and her family. Kaitlyn had many joys in life such as fishing, hiking the White Mountains, anything nature related, and had a great love for animals.
She is also survived by her maternal grandparents, William and Linda Dalton of Palm Bay, FL, paternal grandparents James and Carol Martin of Chelmsford, MA, aunts Stephanie Bush and her husband Ralph of Palm Bay, FL and her cousins Will and Sasha Bush who she adored, her great aunts Louise Mahoney of Palm Bay, FL and Kathleen McClellan and her husband Richard of Tewksbury , two brothers, William Martin of Lowell, MA, and Joshua Martin of Tyngsboro, MA; a sister, Brittany Chavez and her husband, Julian of Palm Bay, FL, two step-sisters, Corynne Lavoie of Nashua, NH; and Heather and her spouse, Kayla Reyes of Pittsfield, MA, two step-brothers, Ryan Doyle of Dracut, MA, and Zach Lavoie of Nashua, NH, her fiancé, Kevin Lausier of Townsend, MA, her future sister-in-law, Tracy Lausier-Turner and her husband, Kevin and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Katie’s infectious smile will surely be missed. She was special person and I’m glad to have met her and call her a friend. She always loved to talk about her fishing adventures, I’m sure she will be with with me when I’m fishing at the lake.
