My heartfelt sympathy to the entire family. I am a classmate of Karen’s from GDRSS and we recently reconnected on Facebook. In her recent posts she looks just as happy as I remember her in high school – always smiling. I remember how much she loved Bob Seger.
You are all in my prayers. I am so sorry to hear this news.

….I was truly saddened to hear of Karen’s passing. I, like many others who have posted on this site, was a classmate of Karen at GDRSS. Karen’s infectious smile and boisterous laughter would constantly fill the halls before, during, and after school. I’m sure she will be missed by all who knew her. Please know her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of all of her former friends and classmates. May Her memory be eternal….
