Kathleen Anne (Murphy) Weeks, 86, of Chelmsford, MA died Thursday afternoon, May 19, 2022 at Giving Tree Senior Living in Dracut, MA.
She was married to the late Gerald B. Weeks, who died on October 2, 1988.
Born in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Alberta (Rennie) Murphy.
She graduated from Medford High School with the class of 1953.
She retired from Penwell Publishing in Littleton, MA. Kathleen worked the Chelmsford town elections and town meetings.
She was a member of the West Chelmsford Methodist Church of Chelmsford, MA. Kathleen was a former communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford; where she volunteered as a sacristan and with the parish’s bingo program. She volunteered at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, MA. She enjoyed travelling to San Francisco Jazz Festivals, NH Highland Games, and many European countries, including the countries of her heritage, Scotland and Ireland.
She is survived by her children, Gerald Weeks, Jr. of Gilford, VT, Brian and his wife Karen Weeks of Townsend, MA, Gregory and his wife Kellie Weeks of Fitchburg, MA and Leslie and her husband Robert Dombroski of Derry, NH, four grandchildren, Jonathan and his wife, Elizabeth Weeks, Anna and her husband, Justin Roberts, Nicholas Dombroski and Kimberly Dombroski, four great-grandchildren, Thomas Weeks, Cecelia Weeks, Reagan Roberts and Korra Roberts as well as many nieces, nephews and cherished cousins.
She was the sister of the late Daniel Murphy.
Kathleen’s family would like to thank the staff of Giving Tree Senior Living for their love and care they provided to Kathleen and her family.

Kathleen’s visiting hours will be Mon., May 23, 2022 from 3 to 7 P.M. Funeral Tues., May 24, 2022 at 10am at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, MA. I wish I could of spent more time with my Aunt Kathy. We wanted to go to Scotland together and listen to bag pipes. I will miss her dearly. I have fond memories of her when I was growing up.
