Khamsone Sarasith of Lowell, MA

Khamsone Suk Sarasith, 76, of Lowell, MA died peacefully Monday February 6, 2023 at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was married to the late Symeuang Phongsavad who passed on December 7, 2021.
Born on September 3, 1946 in Ban Donkhio Mouang Nong Bok, Province of Khammouane, Laos, she was the daughter of the late Sida Sarasith and Kongmy Sarasith.
She was a devout Buddhist and a proud member of Wat Buddha Bhavana Temple of Westford, MA and Wat Lao Mixayaram of New England Inc, along with other surrounding Laotian, Thai, and Cambodian temples.
She enjoyed giving back to the community, engaging with her organizations, spending time with her loving family, friends, and taking care of her daughter.
She is survived by her son, Saysoulit Phongsavad, daughter, Visamay Souriyamath, brother, Bounyeun Sarasith, brother, Khamphou Sarasith, brother, Aphixath Sarasith, three grandchildren Sean Phongsavad, Tum Tum Souriyamath, and Tamara Phongsavad, great grandson, Syre Parker and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sons Saypasong Phongsavad, Saypashit Phongsavad, and Xaysanit Phongsavad, her sister, Nouphone Sarasith, and her grandson BJ Phongsavad.
