Kim Ly Lim

Kim Ly Lim passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at the age of 94, after a short illness. She is now reunited with her late husband, Hoa Yi Lor, her father, Bae Nit, and her mother, Maen Tam.

A dear sister to See Suksawat and beloved mother of Tao Huynh, SivHeang Ly, Sivpek Ea, and Sivhout Lor, she is also remembered by her 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was known for her hardworking nature– always keeping her hands busy whether it was making traditional desserts or tending to her garden. She enjoyed hosting family gatherings and watching her family grow and thrive each year. A devoted Christian, she attended every Sunday service at Eliot Presbyterian Church that she could. There, she found her community and made many lifelong friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, from 4pm-8pm and Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 10:30am-12pm at Dolan Funeral Home (106 Middlesex St., Chelmsford, MA 01863). After visitation on Saturday, a funeral service will take place from 12pm-1pm followed by a burial ceremony at 2pm-4pm at Lowell Cemetery (77 Knapp Ave., Lowell, MA 01852).

Although greatly appreciated, the family is not accepting monetary donations.
