Kong Neam, 76, of Lowell, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, November 15, 2020.
Born in Krohjeh, Cambodia he was the son of the late Gong Neam and Leuy Neam.
Mr. Neam came to the United States on June 27, 1985.
He worked for many years in the popcorn industry in Lowell until his retirement and prior to that was employed in the electronics industry in Dallas, Texas.
While not at work he enjoyed gardening, fishing and will always be remembered as being a true outdoorsman.
Mr. Neam was predeceased by two sons, Koeun Heng who passed away in 1995 and Ny Heng.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Noeun Heng of Lowell, five sons, Sokun Heng, Man Heng, Samnang Heng, Samnith Heng, and Sino Heng, five daughters, Pov Heng of Lowell, Hon Hen of Lowell, Nan Hilton and her husband Darin of Grafton, Sena Heng of Lowell and Monica Heng of Lowell, two brothers, 2 sisters, 13 grand-children, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, MA on Friday, November 20 from 1:30 to 2:30 PM. His funeral procession will leave the funeral home and conclude at Wat Samaki Temple, 85 Tyngsboro Rd. N. Chelmsford. His funeral procession will the leave temple on Saturday, November 21, at 8am and conclude at Fairview Cemetery, Chelmsford where burial will take place.
