Lai Thi Lo of Lowell, MA

Lai Thi Lo, 90, of Lowell, MA, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, October 12, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Yous Lun.

Born in Vietnam, she was the daughter of the late Him Ly Lo and Thi Sen Le. Lai immigrated to the United States on June 6, 1990, after many years of living and working in Cambodia, where she owned and operated a farm.

Lai was a dedicated and active member of the Chua Tuong Van Vietnamese Temple in Lowell. She found joy in many hobbies, including gardening, cooking, sewing, shopping, and playing card games. However, her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family, especially her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters: Lan La of Lowell, MA; Lakina Yous of Cambodia; Deesuonita Lun of Lowell, MA; and Soeurm Motilall of Minnesota. Lai also leaves behind her grandchildren: Den Bisema, Lam Lun, Be Lun, Dara Lun, Mark Lun, Julie Lun, Nalisa Kim, Nisa Kim, Jennifer Peou, Jennita Peou, Sangvarak Peou, Thong Kamara, Adriana Motilall, and Hailey Motilall. Additionally, she will be fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren: Annaliese Bisema, Calisa Bisema, Terrance Lorn, Caleb Quintal, Taylin Phoeun, Thomson Phoeun, Yaseen Mirza, Chankunthea Lun, and Savannah Jean-Louis. Lai was predeceased by her daughter, the late Chanda Yous.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Dolan Funeral Home, 106 Middlesex Street, N. Chelmsford, MA 01863.

Funeral, Saturday, October 19, 2024 9:30 a.m. at Dolan Funeral Home. Cremation to follow at Merrimack Crematory, 10 Henry Clay Drive, Merrimack, NH. There will be a gathering after all services at 1:00 p.m. at Chua Tuong Van Temple, 47 Wilbur Street, Lowell, MA 01851.
