Laurie Jean Montgomery-College, 56, of Ayer, MA died Wednesday afternoon, June 30, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of David Montgomery of Milford, NH and Jean (McAllister) Montgomery of Chelmsford. She graduated from Nashoba Tech High School of Westford with the class of 1982 and Middlesex Community College with an Associate’s Degree in CAD Design.
She worked as an Uber Driver and previously worked at Elliot Presbyterian Church in Lowell as an Administrator.
She was a member of the East Coast Camaro Club.
She was active with the Central Congregational Church in Chelmsford, MA.
Laurie enjoyed knitting, cooking, and photography. She loved Classic Automobiles and was a cat lover.
She is survived by her daughter, Rheanna Brown of Somerville, MA, two step sons, Richard Brown, Jr. of VA, and Kevin Brown of Dracut, MA, her fiancé, Richard Brown, Sr. of Ayer, MA, a sister, Julie and her husband, Bill Pottle of Chelmsford, MA and a nephew Cameron Pottle.
Laurie’s visitation will be on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 10 to 11 A.M. at the Central Congregational Church, Worthern St., Chelmsford, MA followed by a Funeral Service at 11 A.M. Burial in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford. Memorials may be made in her name to the Central Congregational Church, PO Box 339, Chelmsford, MA 01824 or a local food bank of your choice.
