Leng Lim of Lowell, MA

Leng Lim, 88, of Lowell, MA passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Lowell General Hospital.

He was married for 53 years to his wife, Lang On.

Born in Kandal, Cambodia, he was the son of the late Chea Lim and the late Men Nhem.

Leng was a high school graduate, a soldier for the Cambodian Army, and worked as a farmer while living in Cambodia.

He was a member of the Kheansvay Knong Temple of Kandal and the Chanrangsy Temple of Kandal. He later became a monk at Chanrangsy Temple.

In 2022, he came to the United States.

He enjoyed gambling and spending time with his family.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons Sokol Lim of Lowell, Kunthy Lim, Tharat Lim, Vandoung Lim, Long Dy Lim, and Songkry Lim, all of Cambodia; his daughter Srey Leak Lim of Cambodia, twenty-one grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was the father of his late sons Kunthea Lim and Tha Lim; brother of the late Meas Lim; and brother of his late sisters San Lim and Soy Lim.
