Leonell Joseph Marcouillier, 92, of Chelmsford, MA died Monday, August 21, 2023 at Lowell General Hospital.
He was married to Gloria (Russo) Marcouillier with whom he celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary this past March.
Born in Lowell, he was the son of the late William Marcouillier and Medora Marcouillier.
He graduated from Keith Academy with the class of 1949. He attended Lowell Tech.
He proudly served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He retired from Raytheon Co. of South Lowell and previously worked at Fletcher Quarry of Westford, and Abbot Worcester Co. of Westford.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Chelmsford, MA.
He enjoyed baseball, football, golfing, pool, cruising, and trips to Disneyworld.
Besides his wife he is survived by his daughter Betsy and her husband Daniel Valley of Westford, MA, his step daughter Marion and her husband Brian of Pepperell, MA, his step sons Robert and his wife Ashley Russo of Chelmsford, MA, Richard and his wife Shaleigh Russo of Hollis, NH, and Russell and his wife Suzanne Russo of Portland, NH; sister Rita and her husband James Whigham of Nashua, NH; brother Larry Marcouillier of Harrington, Delaware,; grandson Damian Valley of Westford, MA, 5 step grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the of the late Robert Marcouillier and Anne Viellette and husband of the late Barbara (Young) Marcouillier who passed away on January 6, 2010.
FUNERAL NOTICE
Visiting hours Friday August 25th from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. with a Funeral Service at 1 P.M. at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD. Burial in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Westford MA.
