Linda Susan Rogers of North Chelmsford, MA

Linda Susan Rogers, 72, formerly of Absecon, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at her home in North Chelmsford, MA.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Angie Lafond and her husband, Brian, and grandchildren, Ryan and Callie as well as her brother, Gary Rogers, wife Nancy and nephew Justin. She was preceded in death by her parents Hal and Sylvia Rogers.

Linda was born March 3, 1951 in Lowell, Massachusetts to Halstead and Sylvia Rogers (Levine). Linda graduated from Lowell High School and shortly after married Manny Freitas and they one daughter together.  She later attended college to pursue a career in nursing, but changed direction and opened a furniture store in Absecon, NJ. There she met many wonderful customers and cultivated many friendships. After closing her business, she went on to work at Kensington Furniture in Northfield, NJ, where she worked until her retirement in 2010.

She enjoyed cooking and always loved chatting with friends and family. She adored her grandchildren and always loved spending time with them. She was an animal lover and it wasn’t unheard of for her to take in a stray animal or two in need. Linda will be remembered for her honesty, big heart and fiery spirit that served to enlighten everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by friends, family and all who knew her.
