Louise F. (Wirth) Dittmer, 99, of N. Chelmsford, MA died Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA.
She was married to the late John W. Dittmer, who died June 18, 1999. Born in Chelsea, MA she was the daughter of the late Robert and Rose Wirth. She was a graduate of Everett High School, class of 1933.
Louise was a devoted caregiver for the family of Dr. L. Roger Currie of Chelmsford. She was a founding member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Nashua, NH. She was an active member of the congregation and enjoyed participating with the “lunch bunch” at the church.
Louise enthusiastically enjoyed gardening and animals. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was a resident of N. Chelmsford for 59 years. She is survived by her daughter, Carlyn L. Jehle of E. Greenwich, RI and three grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband, Jonathan Panzer of Stamford, CT, Gretchen Jehle of RI and Jonathan and his wife, Christa Jehle of W. Roxbury, MA. She is also survived by a nephew and several cousins She was the sister of the late Robert W. Wirth of
N. Chelmsford, who died February 11, 1996.
