Lucille (Logan) Correia, of Chelmsford, MA passed peacefully on May 10, 2022 in her home. She was 94 years old and still giving the gift of herself to others.
Lucille (Aunnie) was born on January 20, 1928 to Lee and Charlotte (Grabowsky) Logan of Somerville, MA. Lucille is predeceased by her siblings, Lee Logan, Jacqueline Beebe, Carl Logan and Paulé LaJoie. For 64 years, she was the loving wife of the late Wilfred (Unc) Correia. She will be forever loved by her nieces, Pamela Dixon (Russell) of Chelmsford, MA and Jodi Phelan (Bill) of Tuftonboro, NH. Her greatest joys were her great nephews Tim (Negin) Dixon, Kyle Dixon (Danielle), Brendan (Anne Marie) Phelan and Brian Phelan. Her latest joy was her great, great niece Olivia Dixon.
Lucille worked in the office at Arrow Paper Corporation for over 40 years where she made lifelong friends.
Aunnie lived to help others around her. She was caretaker to her mother and her sister. Her favorite times were watching over all ‘her kids’. There are more than 500 animals who have clean hand-crocheted blankets due to her generosity. Her energy was boundless. Aunnie’s laugh and smile will forever be a treasured memory.
A private gathering will be held to honor her. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to a local Humane Society.
