M. Louise Ryder RN of Fall River, MA

Mrs. Mary Louise (Finucane) Ryder, RN, 91, of Fall River, MA died early Saturday, June 26, 2016 at Brookdale in North Chelmsford.

She was the wife of the late Chester E. Ryder Jr. who died November 13, 2013.

Louise was born in Fall River on March 17, 1925. She was the daughter of the late James P. Finucane and Mary Ann (Harrison) Finucane. Louise was a graduate of Durfee High School and Truesdale Hospital School of Nursing.

She retired as the Supportive Services Coordinator for the Community Development Day Care Program with the City of Fall River in 1988. Louise had previously worked at Truesdale Hospital as the head nurse of the pediatric unit, and as a nurse with the Head Start Program.

Mrs. Ryder was an active member of Congregational Christian Church of Somerset, MA.

She is survived by a son, Chester E. Ryder III and his wife Sally of Dracut, MA; her cherished and beloved granddaughter, Casey and her husband Joshua McCaffrey of Swansea, MA, and several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Winston, John, and James Finucane, the late Bernice Turner, and the late Catherine Waring.

There are No Visiting Hours.
