Where does one begin? A chance meeting at 6AM in a convenience store in Woburn mass on a Sunday during a hurricane! with a state wide blackout on all public transportation. which Marcus did not know, of course. He was lost broke and tired, but still kept his composure. Marc approached me the same way i would have him. Hey bro, can you tell me where the f*@# i am? With no cabs buses or trains, or coin. He was in a bad way. i lived around the corner then, Marc, Lowell of course. so i said, F*&^ it bro, jump in! Our first of many screwed up journeys. I got home almost the next day. Brother Marc showed his appreciation with a 30 pack, of course, for starters. then he had to cook for me too! I took a chance at helping someone, who became a real brother to me. A true friend who can never be replaced. your family will be ok pal. that’s a promise from me and many others who truly care. i’m gonna miss you brother! Love Jocko. and my family too.

Dear Elaine,
Hope you remember me? I babysat Marc when you lived on Butman Road in Lowell, Mass. He was a beautiful child and so well-behaved. I LOVED HIM and YOU!! I am so sorry for your loss and his family. I saw his picture and what a handsome man. I am very broken up about it. Tears come to my eyes when I think of him and your loss. Sorry that I could not make services because I am disabled. If you ever need to talk, I am there for you. I don’t know what to say but Thank You for the chance to sit for him when he was a child. He was an exceptional, bright child. Thinking of you and his family. LUV ALWAYS, Marianne Dyer Davidson

Dear Marianne, Of course I remember you. I can’t believe this has happened. “Thankyou” for thinking of us. He was a very good kid, and you know what, he has passed that onto his daughter Sydney. I am extremely sad, it really is a very empty feeling, but it is people like you that help fill that hole. I too, am disabled, its spinal stenosis w/spondylosis (medical terms for a lousy back) God Bless you and your family. “Thankyou” Elaine (If you ever want to talk,e-mail elaniezel@comcast.net or call me 978-452-6664) LoveYou, Elaine
