Mariana Diaz (Morales-Ruiz) Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother

Mariana Diaz (Morales-Ruiz) passed away peacefully on August 28, 2024 surrounded by her family after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.  Born on March 10, 1955 to the late Agustin Morales and Josepha Ruiz in Comerio, Puerto Rico.  For 41 years, Mariana was the loving wife of the late Luis Echarry Diaz, who proceeded her in death on August 11, 2011.

Mariana was a dedicated wife and mother, raising four children and her grandchildren. She enjoyed walking, listening to music, cooking and making memories with her family. Mariana was a lifelong member of the Iglesia Cristiana Ebenezer Asambleas De Dios in Lowell MA.

Mariana is survived by her beloved children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Three sons; Angel Diaz and his wife Kim Moore, David Diaz and his wife Ana Violeta Diaz, Alex Diaz and his wife, Katrina Costa-Diaz; a daughter, Rebecca Diaz and her partner, Hector Bermudez; eight grandchildren; Joshua Diaz, Eliana Diaz, Nisahra Brown, David Diaz Jr., lzaiah Bermudez, Sofia Bermudez, Angel Diaz Jr., and Gabriella Diaz; five great­ grandchildren, Mariana Moore-Diaz, Myla Moore-Diaz, Souline Mathurin, Simone Mathurin, and Michael Moore-Diaz.  Mariana is also survived by her four sisters, Natividad Morales Rodriquez, Ana Morales, Paula Morales, and Maria C. Morales, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her husband, Luis, Mariana was proceeded in death by her brothers Sidelio Morales, Ruben Morales, Godofredo Morales and sisters Carmen L. Morales and Clara Morales.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Mariana’s visitation will be Wednesday, Sept 4, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon followed by a funeral service at 12 Noon at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., CHELMSFORD.  Burial in Edson Cemetery, Lowell, MA.
