Marjorie (Goodwin) Moseley RN of Chelmsford

Marjorie (Goodwin) Moseley RN, 87, of Chelmsford died December 17, 2015 at the Westford House Nursing Home in Westford, MA.

She was married to the late Ben P. P. Moseley Jr. who died August 15, 1998.

Born in Groton, MA on June 3, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Gladys (Johnson) Goodwin. She was raised in Groton and graduated from Groton High School with the Class of 1946. She graduated from the Lowell General Hospital School of Nursing with the Class of 1949.

A resident of Chelmsford for over 52 years, Marjorie worked as a Registered Nurse at the Lowell General Hospital for many years. She later worked as the Town Nurse in Groton.

She loved camping, gardening and playing games with the grandchildren. She was a life member of Good Sam’s Club and Family Motor Coach. She also was a member of the Puritan Eastern Star.

She was an active member of the North Chelmsford Congregational Church.

She is survived by three sons, Douglas Moseley of Hollis, NH, Ben P.P. Moseley III of New Castle, Delaware, and William Moseley and his wife Lynn of Hollis, NH; a sister, Gloria E. Fox of Bradford, VT; eight grandchildren, Kellie, Jessica, Lauren, Adam, Christian, Joshua, Edward and William Moseley; four great grandchildren, Evan Moseley, Destiny Moseley, Geoffrey Gillespie and Colton Moseley; several nieces and nephews. She was also survived by her dear friends, John and Jackie LeMasurier of Chelmsford.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Kenneth H. Goodwin Jr. and W. Arthur Goodwin.

Visiting hours are 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tues. at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 Middlesex St. Chelmsford, MA. Funeral Services Wed. at 11:00 a.m. in the N.
