Mary Pearl (Drainville) McCann, 91, of Pelham, NH died Saturday evening, May 15, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness.
She was married to the late Ralph F. McCann, who died on September 14, 2011.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Theona LaFontaine. She graduated from St. Anne’s Academy in Marlboro, MA with the class of 1947.
Pearl and her late husband owned and operated the Jack and Jill Catering of Lowell, MA New England Grand Prix, and Funland both of Tewksbury, MA.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church of Pelham, NH.
Pearl was a winter resident of Pompano Beach, Florida where she enjoyed socializing at the Silver Thatch Tennis Club and Lighthouse Point Country Club. She was a member of the Pelham and Salem Senior Center.
She is survived by her sons, William and his wife, Paula McCann of Delray Beach, FL and Michael and his wife, Judy McCann of Dracut; daughters; Linda Donahue of Delray Beach, FL and Gail Radville of Dracut; sister-in-law, Virginia (Blouin) McCann of Rye, NH; grandchildren, Katrina, Maegan, Jenna, Mackenzie, Abbey, Jordan and Jackie; fourteen great grandchildren also her loving companion, Callie.
She was the mother-in-law of the late Robert Radville of Tyngsboro who died December 27, 2009.
“Pearl Girl” as her family would call her had a total zest for life and lived her life in full color. She appreciated the little things like nurturing her garden, calling out the colors of the sunset and her special moments at Little Island Pond with her family.
Visiting hours Fri. 3 to 7 P.M. Funeral Sat. at 10 A.M. from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 11 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Church. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. Memorials may be made in her name to the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105. I work at Walgreens and often chatted with Pearl as she shopped. She was a pleasure to visit with and was always kind. I will miss her.

Pearl was truly a Lady. I saw her when she visited Enterprise Bank. Always a kind word and I simply adored her. She will be missed and May She Rest in Peace. Prayers for all of her family
