Matthew Phillip Cox, 42, of North Chelmsford, MA died March 27, 2022.
Born in Lowell, MA, he was the son of Patricia (Sadowski) Cox of N. Chelmsford and the late Michael Cox.
He graduated from Chelmsford High School with the class of 1997, and he also attended Middlesex Community College.
He worked as a hardscaper at JP Porter Construction of Hudson, NH, and previously worked at Blades of Grass of Sudbury.
He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford, MA.
Matthew enjoyed travelling especially to Florida and Las Vegas, NV.
He was an avid Boston Sports fan especially of the Patriots.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his sister, Melissa and her husband, Derek Donegan of Dunstable, MA; his nephew Stephen Donegan of Dunstable, MA; several aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as his girlfriend, Shannon Stephens of Clinton, MA, and many close friends among them, Donald Hook of Londonderry, NH.
Matthew’s visiting hours will be Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 3 to 7pm. Funeral Thursday, March 31, 2022 from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 9:00 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford, MA. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Chelmsford.
