In Loving Memory of Maureen (Lohnes Kendall) Moussette
Maureen Moussette, a cherished resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully at Lowell General Hospital on March 9, 2024.
She was born in Cambridge, MA, on August 10,1950. Maureen was the beloved daughter of the late Eugene Lohnes and Edith Young Lohnes.

Beyond her work, Maureen found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved people and had a generous spirit, often spending her free time walking, gambling, shopping for herself, and delighting in buying gifts for others.
Maureen found immense happiness in attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, cheering them on with pride and enthusiasm.
Maureen is survived by her daughter, Colleen Kendall Ducharme of Dracut, and her 2 grandchildren Patricia and Dj. sisters: Lynda Casaubon and her husband Ronald of Lowell, Debbie Anderson and her husband Ronald of Florida, Denise Tully and Kenny Tully of Dunstable and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory.

So many fond memories since we first met in 6 grade. The obituary is so true about her generosity. It seems I was more on the receiving end. Not a grandchild of mine was born without a hand made baby blanket crocheted by Moe. Love You. Leah

Moe was the best. Her smile I will always remember. I knew her from Keno at the Glenview and then she started at The Establishment. I was so happy to see her again. I was always amazed that she could remember all our numbers and was so happy when we won. She will be missed for sure. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Moe was the type of friend that came into your life and stayed. We had so many good times together, since starting hairdressing school in 1968. She is going on my Angel wall , and will be in my heart forever. I will miss her every day until we meet again. Love you so much 💜

A friend of 57 years, Moe was a true blue friend. A ‘forever’ friend, the kind of friend that everyone wants in their life.
So many wonderful memories came from our friendship.
Moe was always smiling, always happy and always optimistic. She was generous and kind and loved giving. Her soul is shiny and bright and genuine and will live on forever. Moe, you touched so many lives and left footprints on every heart. You’ll be greatly missed by all who knew you. Those of us who loved you dearly, my friend, will hold you in our hearts until we meet again !
Rest easy Moe…

Nicest nicest woman I ever had the pleasure of meeting while cashing in my tickets at Glenview/Establishment —our simple conversations about “this and that” will always be cherished and remembered.

I was so lucky to have meet and worked with Mo at The Establishment. She was such a super kind and lovely person. Wish I had let her know how much I truly cared about her, thought I had more time and then I didn’t.I will miss her dearly.

I remember Maureen from many years ago as a waitress at Long meadow as a waitress and then again at the Glenview as the Keno person and then at the establishment, such a wonderful person so much fun. May she rest in peace.
