Merilyn L. (Scott) Campbell of Nashua, NH formerly of North Chelmsford died Monday April 25, 2016 at the Greenbriar Nursing Home in Nashua.
She was married to the late Charles J. Campbell, who died in 1990.
Born in Lowell, MA she was the daughter of the late Percy D. and Beryl Scott. She was a graduate of Chelmsford High School with the class of 1946.
Merilyn had several different jobs throughout her life. She was the Assistant to the Librarian at the McKay Library in Chelmsford, the Secretary at North School in Chelmsford and a Cashier at Chelmsford High in Cafeteria.
She was a proud resident of N. Chelmsford for 43 years before moving to Nashua in 1992. Merilyn was a Girl Scout Leader for many years.
Merilyn was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church.
She is survived by a son and his wife, Ronald P. and Jennis Campbell of Nashua, NH; two daughters and their husbands, Susan and Larry Thode of Upton, MA and Cindy and David Fletcher of Nashua, NH; Four grandchildren and Nine great grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Clarice Hodgson of Chelmsford, who died 1982.
Visiting hours Wed. 4 to 7P.M. Funeral Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, MA. Burial in the Fairview Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, Contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472.
