Monica H Larson, 67, of Chelmsford, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 17, 2025, at home.
Born in Boston MA she was the beloved daughter of Eric Larson and Helen (Johnson) Larson who has previously passed.
She was brought up in Newtonville, MA and graduated from Newton North High school with the Class of 1975. She is a graduate of Mass Bay Community College (1980) with an associate degree and attended Northeastern University from 1980 – 1989 part-time while working at Cullinet Software, Inc. as an administrator, informational center consultant, computer associate. In 1994, Monica attended Berkley School of Music pursuing her passion for music and piano compositions. She was proud of the fact that later in life she received her black belt in Taekwondo. She also received her realtor’s license later in life and was employed as a realtor until her retirement.
Monica was very smart and talented. She authored a book and created a music album consisting of original songs she composed on the piano. She enjoyed volunteering at local Senior Centers playing piano. She was an avid animal lover and raised two Belgium Shepards dogs one named Cutty Sark who later went on to become a Champion after earning enough championship points.
She is survived by her brothers Leif Larson and his wife Jessica of Cornish, ME and Kent Larson and his wife Janie of Englewood, FL.
FUNERAL NOTICE
Monica will be remembered in a private ceremony and burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree which will be determined at a later date.

Monica, my friend of more than sixty years, you were one of a kind. So many memories, so many laughs. Your smile was like the sun shining, and I will miss you forever. We called each other Sister, and were there for the good times, and the bad, together.

To all who had the opportunity to meet, and maybe lucky enough, to become friends with Monica, you were blessed with knowing a truly beautiful spirit, and human being. One of the most intelligent and caring person you would ever meet. She cared deeply for the people, and, of course, all animals, birds, whatever in her life. It was truly devastating to her when she lost her beloved Bristol and Cutty Sark (her Belgian Shepard show dogs) in a fire. She helped out many throughout her life…she was, in many ways, a teacher of passion, and, compassion . It was felt in her music.
