Mouk Chhoun of Lowell, MA

Mouk Chhoun, 70, of Lowell, MA died Monday, September 13, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was married to Soeun Chum with whom she would have celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary this year.

Born in Battambang, Cambodia she was the daughter of the late Chhoun Tev. Mouk came to the United States in 1985. When she first came to the United States she was living in Long Beach, California. Some of the things she enjoyed most were cooking and gardening.

Besides her husband she is survived by her sons Neang Chum and his wife Diane Phanthavong of Lynwood, CA, John Chum of Lowell, MA, Peter Chhoun of Lowell, MA, her daughter and her husband Rida Chum and Sam Kou of Lowell, MA, her twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late David Rey Chum and Yoeun Chum.
