Nib Ket of Lowell, MA

Nib Ket, 87, of Lowell, MA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday March 28, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Vorn Ses.

Born in Battambang, Cambodia on September 26, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Ket Ouch and Eam Preag. She came to the USA in December of 1984 and became a US Citizen on August 7, 2008. She was a member of the Trairatanaram Buddhist Temple of N. Chelmsford, MA.

Nib enjoyed cooking, especially excellent at making Banana Rice Cake and Banana Chips. She loved spending time with all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards and the video game Mario Brothers. She was a rice farmer in Battambang Cambodia before the Khmer Rouge.

She is survived by her sons Chanthou Ses and his wife On Neang of Lowell, and Chanthan Ses and his wife Sarath Chann of Lowell; daughters Sarim Ses and her husband William Khoun of Lowell, Chreb Ses and Carlos Rivera of Lowell, Phal Ses and her husband Narong Chaunamon of Lowell; nineteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, two great- great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Sokhom Ses who died September 30, 2023 and sister of the late Moeuk Keth of Lowell.
