Noev Oum, 86, a long-time resident of Lowell.

Noev Oum, 86, a long-time resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, at his home on Wednesday evening, October 7, 2020.

Born in Battambang, Cambodia he spent many years as a rice farmer prior to coming to the United States in April of 1985.

Mr. Oum enjoyed fishing and listening to Buddhist prayers.

He was the husband of the late Chan Chum and is survived by his children, Soeum Oum, Khve Oum, Sok and his wife Linda Lim, Sea Oum and her husband Rechatt Proum, Nicole Chan and her husband Hoeun, Desiree Oum- Rivera and her husband Pablo Rivera, May Oum and her husband Khar Sour all of Lowell, Pov Oum and her husband Jason Malakham of Spencer, Ma, 23 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Oum was predeceased by a sister.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his calling hours on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 1:30 to 2:30 PM at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 Middlesex St., N. Chelmsford. His funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 2:30 PM and conclude at Glory Temple. His funeral will be Saturday, October 17, 2020 with his funeral procession leaving Glory Temple at 8AM and concluding at Merrimack Cremation Services, 10 Henry Clay Drive., Merrimack, NH.
