Norma A. (Myles) O’Donnell of Chelmsford, MA, formerly of Saugus, MA died surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Chelmsford.
Born in Stoneham, MA, she was the daughter of the late Mary and Norman Myles. She graduated from Malden High School with the class of 1954.
A resident of Saugus for over 40 years, she worked as a dedicated service representative for NYNEX of Lynn, MA before retiring in 1999.
Norma was an avid reader. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and shopping. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was a volunteer at the Saugus Senior Center for many years.
She is survived by her son, John J. O’Donnell of Laguna Hills, CA; daughters, Kathleen Murphy and her husband, Michael of Westford, MA and Joy Weiler and her husband, Ross of Sudbury, MA; sister, Dorothy Morin-Harvey and her husband, Dick Harvey of Hampstead, NH; three grandchildren, Julianna Murphy, Daniel Murphy and his wife Erica, and Kate Weiler; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation on Saturday Jan. 28, 2017 from 9 to 10:00 a.m. with a Memorial Service at 10:00 a.m.in the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 Middlesex St. Chelmsford, MA 01863. Burial in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Westford, MA. Memorials may be made in her name to the Parkinson Disease Foundation 1359 Broadway Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
