Olajumoke Ashabi Josephine Ajayi of Worcester, MA

Olajumoke Ashabi Josephine Ajayi, age 59, of Worcester, Massachusetts formerly of Lowell, MA died unexpectedly Monday morning, November 18, 2024, after a complication from a routine hospital visit.
Born in Oke-Imesi, Ekiti, Nigeria on June 6, 1965 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Seliatu Osuntokun of Nigeria.

She came to the United States in 1990.

Josephine was well educated and graduated from Leslie University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA with a bachelor’s degree in human resources.

She met her husband Engineer Ayodele John Ajayi of Lowell in 1993.

Josephine worked at Royal Woodmill Nursing Home, Lawrence, Massachusetts, USA as the CEO/Executive Director.

She was a communicant of St. Joseph Shrine in Lowell.

She survived by her husband Engr. Ayodele John Ajayi of Lowell, MA; her daughter Arinola Elizabeth Grace Ajayi more affectionately known as “Lizzy” of Lowell, MA; her sons, Olatunde David Akinola-lakes of Los Angeles, California; Isaiah Adedayo Ajayi and his girlfriend Carly Shearer of Virginia; Michael Temitope Ajayi of Lowell, MA; and stepsons, Anthony Oluwagbenga Ajayi of Quincy, MA, and George Akinyemi Ajayi of Bethlehem, Georgia. One grandson, a senior uncle (Professor Olajide Osuntokun) and many brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.
