Patricia A. (Hopkins) Curtis of Chelmsford

Patricia A. (Hopkins) Curtis, 80, of Chelmsford, MA died Friday, May 29, 2015 at her home.

She was married to the late Kenneth H. Curtis, who died on July 4, 2012.

Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Howard Hopkins and Katherine (Polacek)Hopkins. She graduated from Providence High School with the class of 1952.

Patricia retired in 2006 from the Boston Herald after 41 years of service.

She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church.

Patricia was a former girl scout leader. She enjoyed casinos and cruises with Carnival.  She was an avid gardener.

She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia L. Curtis of Chelmsford and Donna Boucher and her husband Alfred of Nashua, NH; three grandchildren, Jessica Curtis of Groton, Heather Boucher of Nashua, NH and Rebecca Thibedore of Chelmsford and a great grandchild, Justin Curtis.

She was the grandmother of the late Kristopher Thibedore of Chelmsford, who died in 2005.
