To the Merrill Family……
I was very saddened to hear of Pat’s passing. She was a wonderful and fine friend and always had a wonderful smile on her face. I recently was playing word games with her on line.
She will truly be missed by her family, her Church and this Community.

My sympathies to Pat’s entire family. I have many fond memories of Pat’s volunteer work with the Chelmsford Historical Society. She and George loved sharing town history with me – and I am grateful to have learned so much from both of them.

Ken and I were so sad and disappointed to see the obituary for Pat Toms Merrill in our local “Quoddy Tides” Obituary section! Ken’s brother Arthur was a classmate with Pat, and Ken knew her and appreciated her so much. We were both very excited to receive an email from her last summer saying that she was going to be in the area. Unfortunately, a number of things kept getting in the way of our meeting up with her and her daughter Judy, and we were looking forward to better luck next summer! Now, we are so disappointed to have missed getting to see her, and me Ann, getting to know her! We extend the greatest sympathy to all the family and loved ones who will miss her. That she is with her husband again is a consolation. God rest her soul!
