Patricia Anne Dartley, 86, of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Lowell General Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of the late Walter (Jay) Dartley, who predeceased her on March 28, 2019.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Patricia was the daughter of the late Thomas Brennan, MD, and Anna (Martin) Brennan. She graduated from Lowell High School with the Class of 1956.
Patricia enjoyed a fulfilling career and retired from Building Blocks Preschool in Tewksbury, where she made a lasting impact on the lives of many young children.
A communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Lowell, Patricia found great joy in her faith.
She cherished her time spent gardening, baking, visiting on Long Beach, and having long phone conversations with her dear friends. Above all, she loved spending time in person or on FaceTime with her granddaughters, who were the light of her life.
Patricia is survived by her loving daughter, Maura Dartley-Rocco, and her husband Todd of Marblehead, Massachusetts; her sister, Eleana Brennan of Lowell, Massachusetts; her sister-in-law, Suzanne (Burns) Brennan of Lowell, Massachusetts; and her cherished granddaughters, Caitriona Rocco and Ceire Rocco. She was also a beloved aunt to numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Patricia was predeceased by her brothers, Thomas Brennan of Lowell, Massachusetts, and Edward Brennan and his wife Paulette (Theralult) Brennan of Wilmington, Delaware; her father and mother-in-law Mary Carlotta and Walter Dartley; her sister-in-law Margaret St. Peter, her husband Gerald, and their daughter Ann Margaret.
