Mrs. Patricia Ann (Rioux) Ralls of Hollis, NH lost her courageous battle with heart disease Sunday, November 2, 2014 at home.
She was the loving wife of Mr. Francis L. Ralls with whom she shared 56 years of marriage.
Patricia was born in Graniteville, MA on December 28, 1935. She was the youngest of six children of Charles and Mary Rioux of Graniteville. She was a graduate of Chelmsford High School with the class of 1954, and attended Lowell Commercial College.
She worked for twenty-five years as the Bookkeeper at St. John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford until her retirement in June of 1998.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Nashua, and was an active member of the Ladies Sodality, putting on many functions at St. John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford.
Patricia enjoyed working on all the CHS Class Reunion Committees with her classmates from CHS. In her younger years she loved to sing and was a member of the Chelmsford Choral Society and was a member of the Guys & Dolls musical group and was involved in many of their performances.
In addition to her husband, Francis, she is survived by two sons and two daughters in-law, Joseph and Pamela Ralls, David and Danielle Ralls all of N. Chelmsford, two daughters and their husbands, Lisa and Rick Geoffroy, of Chelmsford, Karen and Douglas Callahan of Boise, ID, two sisters, Marie Geary of Nashua, NH, Charlotte Perocchi of Methuen, three cherished grandchildren, Daniel Callahan of Boise, ID, Nicholas and Michael Geoffroy both of Chelmsford; a great grandson, Keegan Callahan, as well as her dear friend Claire Lynch of West Chelmsford, many nieces, nephews and several dear friends.
She was the sister of the late Lorraine Petullo, the late Rita Geladeras both of Lowell and the late Eugene Rioux who died serving in the US Navy during WW II.
Pat had many heart issues in her married life having open heart surgery in 1974. She was also featured on Boston Chronicle in the late 1970’s for women with heart issues during their child bearing years. She left her body to the Harvard Medical School Life Program to help others.
