Paul J. Grzyb, 82, a life-long resident of Lowell, MA passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Lowell General Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born in Lowell, MA on April 28, 1939, he was the son of the late Stanley and Anna (Ferus) Grzyb.
A graduate of Keith Academy in 1956 and proudly served with the United States Navy on the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt. From there he went to become a computer analyst at the Internal Revenue Service in Andover, MA where he worked for many years until retirement.
He loved spending time with his family, the summers at Lake George, Saratoga Race track, deep sea and lake fishing, Disney World, Twin River Casino, the New England Patriots, and scratch tickets.
He was the beloved husband of Donna (Trudel) Grzyb for 52 years who survives him. He will be deeply missed by his son and daughter, Michael and his wife Gretchen Grzyb of Manchester, NH and Katherine Grzyb of Dracut, MA; his grandson Tyrus Grzyb of Manchester, NH; his brother Edward and his wife Mary Alice Grzyb of Woburn, MA; his sister-in-law Kathryn Sheppard of Groveland, MA; and several nieces and nephews.
Paul lived his life to the fullest and will be forever missed by those who knew and loved him.
Visiting hours will be Monday, December 13, 2021 from 3 to 7 P.M. at Dolan Funeral Home, 160 Middlesex St. Chelmsford with a funeral Mass on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 10am at St. Margaret of Scotland Church in Lowell with burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. For those wishing, contributions can be made in his memory to St. Margaret of Scotland parish in Lowell.
