Paula was a dedicated teacher and role model to her students. She made a difference in their lives and they became life-long friends, as she cared about them and their futures. She always loved to talk to people and always had a hand up to help them with anything they might need. She never met a stranger. Paula loved life and truly will be missed by the many people who were blessed to know her. I was blessed to have her as a teacher and friend. Rest in Peace and God Bless your memory. Our prayers are with Peter and their son, Justin.

To the Macione Family. Paula was one of my favorite teachers. She was kind, caring, funny, not to mention the wealth of knowledge she had to give. I’ll always remember the “Accepted Miss Kirby” stamp she put on the top of my homework papers. Heaven forbid you didn’t get that stamp! At the 50th reunion she actually remembered me! I was impressed!
May her love and spirit live on in all of us. Rest in peace Paula.

Deepest sympathy to dear Peter over the loss of his beautiful soulmate. It was a delight to have you both at our 50th reunion last November. Paula was always a ray of sunshine in the halls of BHS. She was a role model and shining light for the female students. Her wonderful smile and personality welcomed the admiration and respect she received from her students. Her love ❤️ for her husband was so evident as they walked arm in arm. May her soul Rest In Peace as she reaps her rewards and blessings in Heaven. ❤️??

Peter, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Paula. She was quite the lady.
It was a pleasure to have you as my homeroom teacher for my Junior and Senior year at what was at
the time the new high school. And it was Paula who always found me in the ladies room trying to have a
cigarette after lunch in the cafeteria. But I know she was chuckling to herself and always gave me a stern
warning and told me to be on my way!! Wonderful memories of both of you.
You both made our 25th class reunion at the Colonial so awesome mainly because you and Paula were sitting at our table.
It was the year the girls decided to leave the menfolk home and we felt special that you wanted to sit with us. It is another wonderful memory. Please cherish them all and know that your lovely wife is smiling down and watching over you.

Dear Mr. Macione, Justin and family,
It was wonderful having Mrs. M for my chemistry teacher so many years ago, I learned so much from her that I carried through to my nursing career. She was alway patient, kind and understanding.
We have shared many a phone call, cards and letters over these many years. Pictures from Andrew’s birthday parties and new grand daughter, so cherished. I have such fond and loving memories of Mrs. M. I can only imagine how you will miss her but know she is directing and teaching from above. May she rest in God’s loving arms. Prayers and thoughts are with you as you journey with her this last time. a warm hug, Sandra Sparrow

Dear Mr. Macione, Justin, and family,
Mrs. Macione was the best teacher I ever had. She inspired me to study chemistry in college and had a profound impact on my life. I still remember the day in chemistry class when electron configurations, that she’d been teaching us for days, finally made sense! She made learning engaging and fun and I will be forever grateful for her. I’m keeping your entire family in my prayers. God bless you. Cathy (Kneizys) Ibrahim
