Phan Man, 85, of Lowell, MA died Sunday, April 10, 2022 at home.
He was married to the late Kam Phang.
Born in Battambang, Cambodia, he was the son of the late Man and Pring.
He came to the United States in August 1985 as a refugee of the Cambodian Genocide. He became a U.S. citizen on September 6, 2006.
Phan was a rice farmer in Cambodia and later served as a priest in the Watsamake Temple in Chelmsford.
He enjoyed watching boxing, wrestling, and The Animal Planet. In his spare time, he loved to garden and cook. He spent most of his last days at home, snuggled on the couch with Cerberus, the family dog.
He is survived by sons Phoy Phan of Cambodia, Peter Phan and his wife Keav Taing of Lowell, daughters Phann Phan of Camodia, Pheap Phan of Cambodia, and Phuong Phan of Lowell, and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was loved by many of his many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, including Daisy Var, Vincent Var, and Patrick Phan.

Visiting hours Friday, April 22 from 1:30 to 2:30 P.M. at DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., N. CHELMSFORD following a procession from 2:30 P.M. -6:00 P.M. to the Wat Khmer Samaki Santakaram Temple. Funeral Saturday, April 23 at 8 A.M. at Wat Khmer Samaki Santakaram Temple followed by a procession to Merrimack Crematory, Merrimack, NH.
