Py Chea, 82, of Lowell, MA died Monday, August 30, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was married to the late Kem Heng, who died in 1982.
Born in Battambang, Cambodia she was the daughter of the late Chea Kong and Pom Kim. Py came to the USA in January of 1984 and later gained citizenship in 2013. She was a member of the Glory Buddhist Temple of Lowell, MA where she was a devout Buddhist. Traveling, trips to Foxwoods, and gardening were some of her favorite things but above all else she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son Eric Heng of Cambodia, her son and his wife Hoeun and Kerrie Heng of Lowell, MA, her daughter Saroeun Heng of Wichita, KS, her daughter and her husband Prak Heng and Hoy Proeung of Lowell, MA, her eleven grandchildren, her nine great-grandchildren, and her many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Khann Chea who died June 20, 2005.

I miss you grandma you were my everything my grandma but above all you was my mom who I call mom til this day. You help raise me and my siblings when we were children until my teenage years when my parents was at work you taught me love, respect and to stand for what I am til this day who I became as a mother.I will miss you dearly and love you with all my heart.
